Generation Tennis projects that by providing the platform for small, community-centered tennis learning/practice/league-play groups, Children will learn and play tennis as a sport as well as a social game; that by demonstrating the sports’ “portability”, tennis is an option for physical activity and fun for any age, anywhere!

Fast paced, super fun, skill-building techniques. Classes for children ages 5 to 10 (depending on skill) focus on motor skills, balance, coordination, agility and racquet skill. As the students improve coordination, and hand eye motor skills, the challenges increase and so does their tenacity and fun. Classes are divided by age and skill levels. QuicKids Tennis uses USTA and USPTR teaching methods and Learning Format for the age and skill appropriate classes, taught with the appropriate size ball, that is Red dot and Orange dot balls. This method gives kids the chance to develop skill and racket head awareness with the appropriate ball. Certified tennis professionals teach all classes. Great for beginners!


Skill Levels: 
Beginner: Ages 5-14. Red ball or Orange ball. A beginner is a student that has never taken instruction or has taken some instruction and is unable to hit the ball back and forth a few times or more form the mid court.  A beginner has a hard time moving to adjust for the ball when high or short. Having taken some tennis classes does not necessarily make a student not a beginner.

Advanced Beginner: ages 9-14. Red ball or Orange ball. An Advanced Beginner is a student that has taken some lessons and understands how to hold the racket, the difference between a: backhand, forehand, serve, volleys. Advanced Beginners can make contact with the ball. Advance beginners can make some adjustments for high or short balls and can hit the ball back and forth more than a few times from midcourt.

Intermediate: Ages 10-14. Orange ball or Green dot ball. An Intermediate is a students that can hit mid court back and forth and understands the importance of hitting slow for success with the orange ball. An Intermediate understand what all strokes in tennis are however lacks consistency

Advanced Intermediate: Age 10-15 An advanced intimidate student can hit with the orange ball, or green dot ball ten or twenty balls back and forth and is making evaluations of how to set up for the ball while the ball is in the air. This student can serve in the service box and start the point and know how to keep score however will make mistakes when trying to hit with more pace or spin.



Lesson Types: 

Red dot ball:
Is for beginner kids 5,6,7,8; It is a ball used on the 36'' court to teach control but it is often used for students of all ages to learn racket head awareness, and improve hand eye coordination.

Orange dot ball:
Is used on the 60'' tennis court ages 9-10 these balls bounce at 1/2 the speed of regular tennis balls, designed to facilitate control and stroke development. These balls are also used for students of all ages.

Green dot ball:
For ages 10+ is used on full 78'' court. Green dot ball, not as aggressive as the yellow ball allows students to develop point play better footwork and preparation for all strokes.

Advanced Tournament Players:
13-18 years old. This is a 1.5 hour class for students that are goal oriented. This class will focus on point development and structure, with emphasis on consistency, shoot selection and ball placement, stressing proper stroke biomechanics.

Yellow ball:
Is the regular Tennis ball used in professional competition and USTA Junior tournaments.  

Junior Intermediate
11-13 years old are designed for advanced beginners and intermediate students whom need to work on developing proper techniques and consistency and work to understand the process necessary to improve as a player and proper strokes biomechanic. These fun 1.5 hour classes will give the student time to learn stroke development, practice with live hitting exercises and practice play with each other.

Junior Clinic. Want to play/Learn to play
12-15 years old. This class is for students that have discovered the game of tennis and are not 8 or 9 years old, maybe this students have taken a few lessons and are now embarking on a tennis future with clinics, privates and possibly some summer camps. Register your child, he or she will truly enjoy their learning experience.
