In these engaging and thoughtfully designed art classes, children will explore the foundations of drawing, painting, and sculpture through hands-on exercises and inspiring demonstrations. Each lesson is carefully structured to build skills while leaving plenty of room for imagination and self-expression. Students will learn essential artistic concepts such as composition, proportion, perspective, and the expressive use of line and shape, all within a warm and supportive environment.Through age-appropriate projects, children will experiment with a variety of techniques and media, gaining confidence as they bring their ideas to life. This course is perfect for artists of all interests - animators, illustrators, comic book creators, andmore! In this class, students will learn what it means to be a character designer and learntechniques used by industry professionals from an industry professional through lectures,demos, and hands-on experience. They’ll then learn how to write their characters' stories, drawthem in interesting, interactive poses, and place them in a believable 3D space. Students willalso learn the importance of thinking while they draw, as they come up with unique designs.Students can bring their own original characters and are encouraged to create new ones usingthese industry techniques. This class is great for all skill levels, from those who have neverdrawn before to those with some pencil mileage - everyone can benefit from this comprehensivecharacter design class!Learning OutcomesStudents who complete this course will:1. Learn the process of making strong and compelling characters with unique andinteresting stories that reinforce their design.2.
