Participants will learn the fundamentals of the shot process and test their skills by competing in a series of unique challenges and archery games designed to improve accuracy. This course will be led by certified USA Archery and National Field Archery Association (NFAA) instructors. Our ‘learn by playing’ philosophy enables students to enjoy the excitement of shooting while practicing skills and fundamental aspects of the shot process embedded into the course. Adults welcome too!

The Boston Ultimate Disc Alliance or BUDA is partnering with Belmont Recreation to bring you Youth Ultimate Frisbee for 5th and 6th graders. It's outdoors, fun, and active! Whether you're totally new to the sport (never threw a disc!) or an accomplished young player, our coaches will work with you to make sure you have fun and learn skills and strategy for the sport of Ultimate. This six-week class and curriculum will focus on the very basic skills of lacrosse. Through the use of fun and creative games, our coaches will introduce hand-eye coordination skills that will begin to build the foundation of necessary lacrosse skills of scooping, cradling, passing, catching, and shooting. As their skills begin to develop, our goal is to help each player increase their self-confidence and independence, preparing them for the next level of our program. During this introductory class, we will also introduce players to basic 1 v 1 strategies utilizing different dodge techniques.  In the latter weeks we may also introduce NON-contact, small sided scrimmages.  For indoor use, we will be using soft practice balls!

This six-week class and curriculum will focus on the very basic skills of lacrosse. Through the use of fun and creative games, our coaches will introduce hand-eye coordination skills that will begin to build the foundation of necessary lacrosse skills of scooping, cradling, passing, catching, and shooting. As their skills begin to develop, our goal is to help each player increase their self-confidence and independence, preparing them for the next level of our program. During this introductory class, we will also introduce players to basic 1 v 1 strategies utilizing different dodge techniques.  In the latter weeks we may also introduce NON-contact, small sided scrimmages.  For indoor use, we will be using soft practice balls!

An introductory program for boys and girls beginning at age 3. Children must be age 3 by May 1, 2024. Batting is from a tee. Each team has 10 players and games are played twice weekly for approximately five (5) weeks. T-Ball is a great way to meet new friends and discover the joy of baseball. Games are played at Town Field. ( Location subject to change) Two parent volunteer coaches are required for each team. Please indicate if your are interested in coaching at the time of registration. There will be a coaches meeting and equipment pick up on Monday April 29th (subject to change).Volunteers and Parents will have to have a CORI/SORI on file with the Recreation Department. DO NOT email these forms back to us, please bring them to our office with your ID.Registration deadline is April 12th, 2024. The Boston Ultimate Disc Alliance or BUDA is partnering with Belmont Recreation to bring you Youth Ultimate Frisbee for 5th and 6th graders. It's outdoors, fun, and active! Whether you're totally new to the sport (never threw a disc!) or an accomplished young player, our coaches will work with you to make sure you have fun and learn skills and strategy for the sport of Ultimate. An introductory program for boys and girls beginning at age 3. Children must be age 3 by May 1, 2024. Batting is from a tee. Each team has 10 players and games are played twice weekly for approximately five (5) weeks. T-Ball is a great way to meet new friends and discover the joy of baseball. Games are played at Town Field. ( Location subject to change) Two parent volunteer coaches are required for each team. Please indicate if your are interested in coaching at the time of registration. There will be a coaches meeting and equipment pick up on Monday April 29th (subject to change).Volunteers and Parents will have to have a CORI/SORI on file with the Recreation Department. DO NOT email these forms back to us, please bring them to our office with your ID.Registration deadline is April 12th, 2024. We might not be able to  accommodate late registrations after this date.Placement requests will be honored to the best of our ability. Please try to limit your request to siblings or one friend. Experience the thrill of traditional recurve archery, as seen in the Olympics. Participants will learn the fundamentals of the shot process and test their skills by competing in a series of unique challenges and archery games designed to improve accuracy. This course will be led by certified USA Archery and National Field Archery Association (NFAA) instructors. Our ‘learn by playing’ philosophy enables students to enjoy the excitement of shooting while practicing skills and fundamental aspects of the shot process embedded into the course. Adults welcome too!

Flag Football provides students with the opportunity to develop many of the same skills, tactics, and strategies used in Football without significant physical contact. Not to mention, all of the skills used in Flag Football can be applied to any sport your child may be interested in later! Flag is a safe, fun way to get lots of exercise, learn a bit about teamwork and sportsmanship, and make some new friends. This program will be full of fun activities, drills, mini-games, and the chance to win some awesome prizes! Most games will be in a 5 vs 5 and 7 vs 7 style! Kids should wear comfortable running shoes!

An introductory program for boys and girls beginning at age 3. Children must be age 3 by May 1, 2024. Batting is from a tee. Each team has 10 players and games are played twice weekly for approximately five (5) weeks. T-Ball is a great way to meet new friends and discover the joy of baseball. Games are played at Town Field. ( Location subject to change) Two parent volunteer coaches are required for each team. Please indicate if your are interested in coaching at the time of registration. There will be a coaches meeting and equipment pick up on Monday April 29th (subject to change).Volunteers and Parents will have to have a CORI/SORI on file with the Recreation Department. DO NOT email these forms back to us, please bring them to our office with your ID.Registration deadline is April 12th, 2024. The Boston Ultimate Disc Alliance or BUDA is partnering with Belmont Recreation to bring you Youth Ultimate Frisbee for 5th and 6th graders. It's outdoors, fun, and active! Whether you're totally new to the sport (never threw a disc!) or an accomplished young player, our coaches will work with you to make sure you have fun and learn skills and strategy for the sport of Ultimate. In this action-packed class, students will learn the fundamentals of Soccer, do drills to develop and improve skills, and play Soccer games. Students will also get the chance to rotate playing some of their other favorite sports games throughout the session including dodgeball, basketball, flag football, kickball, pickle, and many others. If you love sports and variety, this will be a fan-favorite class for you! Come get your game on! At the end of each class, we will discuss current events in sports, learn the importance of maintaining a healthy active lifestyle, and reinforce in-class learning using sports cards and prizes. This class is a fun way to be active, learn about teamwork and sportsmanship, and make new friends! Participants should wear sneakers and comfortable clothes.

Experience the thrill of traditional recurve archery, as seen in the Olympics. Participants will learn the fundamentals of the shot process and test their skills by competing in a series of unique challenges and archery games designed to improve accuracy. This course will be led by certified USA Archery and National Field Archery Association (NFAA) instructors. Our ‘learn by playing’ philosophy enables students to enjoy the excitement of shooting while practicing skills and fundamental aspects of the shot process embedded into the course. The Boston Ultimate Disc Alliance or BUDA is partnering with Belmont Recreation to bring you Youth Ultimate Frisbee for 5th and 6th graders. It's outdoors, fun, and active! Whether you're totally new to the sport (never threw a disc!) or an accomplished young player, our coaches will work with you to make sure you have fun and learn skills and strategy for the sport of Ultimate. An introductory program for boys and girls beginning at age 3. Children must be age 3 by May 1, 2024. Batting is from a tee. Each team has 10 players and games are played twice weekly for approximately five (5) weeks. T-Ball is a great way to meet new friends and discover the joy of baseball. Games are played at Town Field. ( Location subject to change) Two parent volunteer coaches are required for each team. Please indicate if your are interested in coaching at the time of registration. There will be a coaches meeting and equipment pick up on Monday April 29th (subject to change).Volunteers and Parents will have to have a CORI/SORI on file with the Recreation Department. DO NOT email these forms back to us, please bring them to our office with your ID.Registration deadline is April 12th, 2024. We might not be able to  accommodate late registrations after this date.Placement requests will be honored to the best of our ability. Please try to limit your request to siblings or one friend. Flag Football provides students with the opportunity to develop many of the same skills, tactics, and strategies used in Football without significant physical contact. Not to mention, all of the skills used in Flag Football can be applied to any sport your child may be interested in later! Flag is a safe, fun way to get lots of exercise, learn a bit about teamwork and sportsmanship, and make some new friends. This program will be full of fun activities, drills, mini-games, and the chance to win some awesome prizes! Most games will be in a 5 vs 5 and 7 vs 7 style! Kids should wear comfortable running shoes!

Players are welcome to bring their own volleyball if they would like, but it is not required.

In this action-packed class, students will learn the fundamentals of Soccer, do drills to develop and improve skills, and play Soccer games. Students will also get the chance to rotate playing some of their other favorite sports games throughout the session including dodgeball, basketball, flag football, kickball, pickle, and many others. If you love sports and variety, this will be a fan-favorite class for you! Come get your game on! At the end of each class, we will discuss current events in sports, learn the importance of maintaining a healthy active lifestyle, and reinforce in-class learning using sports cards and prizes. This class is a fun way to be active, learn about teamwork and sportsmanship, and make new friends! Participants should wear sneakers and comfortable clothes.

Experience the thrill of traditional recurve archery, as seen in the Olympics. Participants will learn the fundamentals of the shot process and test their skills by competing in a series of unique challenges and archery games designed to improve accuracy. This course will be led by certified USA Archery and National Field Archery Association (NFAA) instructors. Our ‘learn by playing’ philosophy enables students to enjoy the excitement of shooting while practicing skills and fundamental aspects of the shot process embedded into the course. Adults welcome too!

An introductory program for boys and girls beginning at age 3. Children must be age 3 by May 1, 2024. Batting is from a tee. Each team has 10 players and games are played twice weekly for approximately five (5) weeks. T-Ball is a great way to meet new friends and discover the joy of baseball. Games are played at Town Field. ( Location subject to change) Two parent volunteer coaches are required for each team. Please indicate if your are interested in coaching at the time of registration. There will be a coaches meeting and equipment pick up on Monday April 29th (subject to change).Volunteers and Parents will have to have a CORI/SORI on file with the Recreation Department. DO NOT email these forms back to us, please bring them to our office with your ID.Registration deadline is April 12th, 2024. We might not be able to  accommodate late registrations after this date.Placement requests will be honored to the best of our ability. Please try to limit your request to siblings or one friend. Requests cannot be honored after the April 14th deadline.
