The Belmont Recreation Department will resume issuing picnic permits in 2021 for Belmont Parks with the guidelines below in place.

Permits will continue to be issued weather permitting, with no permit extending beyond sunset.

Permits will be limited to groups of 25 or fewer.

Permits will be issued at $25 per hour for residents and $35 per hour for non-residents.

Face coverings must be worn when 6ft social distancing cannot be maintained, excluding patrons eating.

Permits and reservations may not be combined with any other group/event.

All other posted park rules, health ordinances, and COVID-19 guidelines set by the town/state must be observed.

Violation of the above guidelines or any other regulations set forth by the Town of Belmont or Commonwealth of Massachusetts will result in the immediate revocation of the permit and removal from grounds.

Carry in/Carry out. Leave the park cleaner than when you arrived. Remove your trash!
- Picnic Tables are offered as is, the condition of tables can not be guaranteed. Tables are not wiped or cleaned prior to use.
