Teen Social Skills Workshop

This program is currently unavailable. Click here to view all of our current programs.

In today's competitive world, it’s not just what you do that counts it is how you do it. While
academic qualifications are very important, soft skills are just as crucial in determining long term success especially when competition for college, internships and jobs is fierce.

Give your teenager the lifelong gift of courtesy, resilience and good manners. Our workshop is aimed to empower them into becoming confident, independent and respectful adults so that they can navigate their way through life with poise and grace. These skills will help them succeed at school, socially, and later, professionally and can create an appealing differentiator that sets them apart. Our lessons instill mindfulness & social consideration as we believe that when teenagers are taught these basic social skills in their early years, they tend to become more socially responsible as they grow up. To survive the rising social pressure, teens must be trained in a way to feel confident and comfortable around people and to find their place in the world.

Topics Include: The Importance of Greeting Others, Rules of Introduction, The Handshake, Eye Contact, and the Power of a Smile, Hygiene and Appearance, Self-Respect and Respect for others, Making Appropriate Conversation, Proper Telephone Etiquette, Writing Thank You Notes, Email, Text and Social Media Etiquette, & Other Modern Manners.
