Belmont Teen Committee 2026-2027 School Year
The Belmont Teen Committee (BTC) is a program designed to provide 6th-8th graders an opportunity to lead, plan and serve the Belmont youth through a variety of fun activities. The goal is to let YOU, the participant, lead while the Belmont Recreation Staff provide scaffolding to support. All are welcome to join as long as they are respectful, kind and honest.
The BTC is made up of 3 sub committees: Fund Raising/Marketing, Programming, and Volunteer. You can learn more about each committee by checking out this Google Slideshow.
The BTC meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month from 1:30 pm - 2:45pm in BMS, 2nd floor, in Team Curiosity POD space.
Our first meeting for the 2026-2027 school year is September, 9th.
During these meetings there will be time for committees to work on their separate focuses/goals and then report back to the larger group for voting and further discussion. Belmont Recreation Staff will supervise and counsel.
