Dolphins Swim Team Tryouts 2025/2026 Season

REGISTRATION For Dolphins Tryouts  BEGINS **SEPTEMBER 8, 2025**
Please return to this page on Sept 8th to register.

Dolphins Try Outs are ONLY for swimmers who have not been on the team previously. 

Prospective swim team members must attend tryouts.
You MUST pre-register to attended tryouts. Walk-ins WILL NOT be accepted.

There is no cost to try out for the team.

**Sept 24th: 
                    swimmers 8 years and under @ 5:30 pm (By Nov 1, 2025)
                    swimmers 13 years -18 years  @ 6:30pm (By Nov 1, 2025)
**Sept 25th:
                    swimmers 9 -10 years  @ 5:30 pm  (By Nov 1, 2025)
                    swimmers 11-12 years @ 6:30 pm  (By Nov 1, 2025)

**Available slots will be determined based on number of returning swimmers**

Team Participation Requirements:

Please do not tryout if you are not able to commit to the following:

Oct 20, 2025 - Mar 8, 2026
- 2 practices a week 
- 5 Swim meets
- Championship meet Mar 7-8, 2026
- Parent Volunteer hours


Tryout Requirements:

8 and under swimmers: 25 yards of freestyle (front crawl) and backstroke.  If they can do one of the other competitive strokes, butterfly or breast, they will show the coach after the 9/10 group finishes.  
 
9/10 swimmers: 25 yards of free and back plus their choice of one other competitive stroke. 
 
11 and up:  50 yards of free, back and one other stroke.  They should be able to do all 4 strokes, but for time, they will only have to do 3.  Swimmers may be asked to swim warm-up laps prior to the individual try-outs.
 
The coaches are judging technique and potential – NOT speed!
