2024 Guidelines
The Belmont Recreation Department picnic permits in 2024 for Belmont Parks with the guidelines below in place. 
  • Permits will continue to be issued weather permitting, with no permit extending beyond sunset.
  • Permits will be limited to groups of 25 or fewer.
  • Permits will be issued at $25 per hour for residents and $35 per hour for non-residents.
  • Permits and reservations may not be combined with any other group/event.
  • All other posted park rules, health ordinances set by the town/state must be observed.
  • Violation of the above guidelines or any other regulations set forth by the Town of Belmont or Commonwealth of Massachusetts will result in the immediate revocation of the permit and removal from grounds.
  • Carry in/Carry out. Leave the park cleaner than when you arrived. Remove your trash!
