Belmont Recreation offers a variety of Summer Camp experiences for Belmont residents and non-residents.
SKIP Camp: Ages 5 - 6
Camp Cushing: Age 7 - 9
Camp Waverly: Ages 10 - 12
Adventure Camp: Ages 13 -14
C.I.T. (Counselor In Training) Program: Ages 14 - 15
*At age 16 you can apply to be a counselor!
Fees:
Camps Skip, Cushing, and Waverly are $365 each week (Week of 4th of July is prorated)
Adventure Camp is $475 per week. (Adventure camp runs Tues/Weds/Thurs)
C.I.T. Program is $50 for 2 weeks (residents only)

Session 1: June 24 - June 28
Session 2: July 1- July 3 (No C.I.T. Program or Adventure Camp this week)
Session 3: July 8 - July 12
Session 4: July 15 - July 19
Session 5: July 22 - July 26
Session 6: July 29 - August 2
Session 7: August 5 - August 9
Location: As of January 26, 2024, we are working closely with the Belmont Schools to determine which school campus camp will be located at this summer. Stay tuned for more information!
Hours:
Camp drop is from 8:30am - 9:00am
The Camp day begins at 9am
Pickup is between 3:00pm and 3:30pm
We offer extended day by the week. The cost is $150 for the week and this enables your child to be picked up between 3:30pm-5:30pm.
What to expect!
Our camps are traditional, summer, day camps. Campers rotate through a variety of activities which include sports, arts and crafts, music, events, playground games, swimming, and field trips. Campers typically swim at the Underwood Pool 2 days per week but will sometime go more often is the weather is nice! Field trips take place on Wednesdays and are typically under an hour bus ride away. Special events take place on Fridays.

Session 3: Safari Week - Franklin Park Zoo - Goat Yoga
Session 4: Blast from the Past Week - /Acton Children's Museum/Tree Top Adventures - Cooking Event
Session 5: Olympics Week - Canobie Lake Park - TBD
Session 6: STEM Week - New England Aquarium - TBD
Session 7: Carnival Week - Kimball Farm - Water Park Event
Adventure Camp:
Adventure Camp is a premier, field trip based camp for older kids! The camp will run Tues/Weds/Thurs and the program is limited to 10 kids per week. Campers will embark on field trips in the Rec Van with 2 staff. Trips will include hikes, beach trips, awesome events, and much more. Each day will be a new adventure and the campers and staff will have some autonomy as to what they do each day. Grab your friends and join us for a week of fun and adventure!
